1. Tell my readers about yourself and your blog

I’m Ziyanda and I’m currently studying a degree in Fashion Media. My blog is about the perfect man from a woman’s perspective on how to look good, dress well, all the tricks of trade and it benefits women also how to look for the perfect man so vice versa.

2. Describe your style in 3 words

My style has a street style edge to it, it’s minimal and clean cut.

3. What made you decide to start blogging?

I decided to start a blog because no one was necessary doing what I speak about – the perfect guy from a woman’s perspective and because I had to do it for school.

4. Who would you say is your number one fashion inspiration and why?

I don’t necessarily have one person in particular who is my fashion inspiration. I would say a lot of fashion bloggers that are very street style based and a lot of musicians like the Kanye West’s because they are not necessarily in fashion but it obviously trickles into their style and sometimes they tend to have a better perspective in fashion than someone who works in fashion and those are the kind of people that inspire me.

5. What are your favourite fashion magazines?

I have 4 favourite magazines actually – it’s Dazzed, Harper’s Bazaar, I-D magazine and GQ magazine. So inspirational and very creative.

6. What are some of your current fashion obsessions?

I’m very much obsessed with exaggerated sleeves, exaggerated bottoms, crisp white shirts and a few things that may be transparent – I’m really liking that trend.

7. Would you say that you’re a sneaker head and why?

I’m definitely a sneaker head. I feel like sneakers go with everything – you can wear a matric dance dress with sneakers and someone would be like something’s happening. They’re just trendy, very colourful and you can get trainers these days that are trendy and that work with everything. I’m very up to date with the latest sneakers.

8. What is your dream job?

I think I would really actually like to be a creative director for a magazine and the photographer because I would like to think that I have some amazing ideas or a brand manager or the magazine editor – why not actually?

9. What is one thing my readers would be surprised to hear?

Your readers would be very surprised to hear that I’m actually part of opening an orphanage that’s going to be opening soon. I’m very excited about that because we live in such a me world. We are all very selfish and so into ourselves in this fashion industry so it’s definitely very different to what we do on a day-to-day basis.
