ABOUT ME

Siya is the name and I try to slay the game! I am 19 years old and currently attending LISOF. I’m studying towards a BA Fashion Media degree.

Growing up I was known as the “girly-girl”. All I ever wore were dresses and skirts. Everything had to be purchased in pink and I never seemed to understand the concept behind wearing sneakers.  

It’s so funny how things have changed and twisted, as today I’m the exact opposite. I only own many different pairs of sneakers and legitimately two pairs of heels.  You will always find me wearing pants. I hate wearing dresses and skirts.

I find it ironic how I am a kind and humble human being yet my go to colour is black. I have a thing for black. I’m in love with black. My mom doesn’t necessarily agree with my passion for the colour black because she says everything in my closest looks the same because it’s all in black.

In my spare time, I am mostly watching fashion videos from YouTube specifically from Vogue, Hypebeast and surfing fashion based websites such as WGSN, Elle and Vogue.

I’ve got an unhealthy addiction to shopping. Shopping is my therapy and my true passion in life. I often obsess about my closet, thinking about ways that I could style outfits in different ways.

My blog will entail posts based on how to style outfits, interviews, product reviews and street style from events.

Anyone who spends most of their time around me could tell you that I’m at my happiest with some clothing items in my hands. Clothing allows me to express myself, play with creativity and to be original.

Fashion is my art and I’m taking the steps to becoming an artist in hopes of becoming a well-known stylist in the future.
